That will be a great help. Although I've only got a pair of Tasco's I shall give it a shot.

Pete, Newbie question here, see your last photo could you overlay a couple of the constilations on it please, try as I might can't get to grips with that part of the sky. Huh go on, go on,go on, go on, go on etc, etc.

For those still looking and if it is still possible to see this Comet it will be about 1 degree above Caph in Cassiopeia at midnight on the 22-23-24 April. - with acknowledgements to Starry Night Pro

For those of the Barnardstar2 method of thinking Caph is the top right most star in the 'W'

At the moment it should be possible to find it by drawing a straight line between Gamma Cassiopeia and Caph. The seperation between Gamma and caph is approx 6 degrees following along this straight line a further 7 degrees from Caph you will hopefully see the comet.

For those of the Barnardstar2 method of thinking Gamma is the top star in the middle of the 'W' so its about 'V' much further. If you see what I mean

Hi bs2,
That'll be a tough one,it's down to mag 10.3 already according to Heavens above, sure to be around mag 11 by the 22nd.If the location is dark,it shouldn't be too difficult,I'll give it a go.

Andrew.
