I shall remember that for my Christmas list then. I'm halfway through Tom Hanks' "From the Earth to the Moon" at the moment.

Is it out on DVD? Where can I get it from? I wanted to see that film when it was out on cinema, but it was a very limited release and nowhere near me was showing it.

Got my copy in HMV last week - cracking film. Surprised at how old all of the astronauts are looking now though they are all getting on in years. Mike Collins comes over really well. Some great footage - some of which I hadnt seen before - excellent film just wish i'd seen it on the big screen

Ibought my copy on amazon, £11.99.
Seen it on the big screen and it was awesome. Possibly the best movie i've ever seen. Feeling a little guilty now that i ever doubted they done it.

Brian

I watched this last week too.  Faaaantastic!
I wish i had seen it at the cinema too though, beautiful.
I even got a little emotianal at one point :)

The extras were pretty interesting for a change too.  The two pieces with Buzz being Dr Rendezvouz and then talking about shooting an enemy pilot down were jarring and a little chilling.

It's a great film, and well worth owning on DVD in my opinion.

If you'd rather save the cash, it'll be broadcast on TV later this year - on Channel 4 in June.
